Apple with Worm
Materials
Directions
- Color plate red
- On color construction paper, draw a simple worm and cut it out
- Draw eyes for the worm’s head and a smile with crayon or color pencil
- At the top of the plate, cut a curve into the apple slightly to create the shape
- In the middle of the plate, fold slightly and cut so you have an opening
- Insert worm through the hole
- At the top of plate, tape or glue pipe cleaner
- Your apple is complete

Beach Ball
- Beach Balls
Directions
- Children will play with beach balls
- They can toss the balls around
Bubble Art
- Paint
- Dishwashing liquid
- Paper
- Straws
- Bowl
- Water
Directions
- In a bowl, mix together water, dishwashing liquid, and paint
- Dip one end of the straw into the mixture and blow gently to make bubbles
- Add paint on top of bubbles
- Gently place a piece of paper on top of the bubbles and hold it in place for a few seconds
- As the bubbles pop, they will leave marks on the paper
- Set the paper aside to dry

Directions
- Cut out a circle to create the shape of the fortune cookies
- Place your finger into the middle and bend the cookie around your finger, giving it shape
- Staple the front and the back of the fortune cookie together
- Your cookies are complete

Hopscotch
- Chalk
- Beanbag
Directions
- Create hopscotch board using the chalk on pavement: create 10 boxes labeled 1-10 with 2 & 3, and 5 & 6, and 8 &9
- Throw beanbag onto a square
- Hop on one foot on each box
- When you reach the one with the beanbag skip it
- When you reach 10 turn around and come back
- When you reach the spot with the beanbag, pick up the beanbag and continue to the end
Paper Towel Butterflies
Materials
- Paper towels
- Pipe cleaners
- Bowl
- Water
Directions
- Fold paper towel in half, in half and in half again so it is in sixteenths
- Color each corner in marker
- Dip the paper towel in a bowl filled with water
- Squeeze the paper towel out so it is not dripping water
- Unfold and gather paper towels and tie around with pipe cleaner
- Let the butterfly sit and dry
Paper Trees
Materials
- Newspaper
- Scissors
- Marker
- Pencil
- Take 4-8 pieces of newspaper
- Roll a newspaper around a markers; place the marker aside after a few rolls
- When you are two inches from the edge, lay another newspaper on top of the flap and continue rolling again until approximately two inches remain, not too tightly
- Repeat Step 3 until all the pages are rolled up to the amount/size you like
- Make four equal vertical cuts to one end of the tube approximately 6 inches long with scissors
- With your left hand holding the tube, gently use your right hand to pull downwards from the very center of the cut end
- Repeat using the pencil to make a smaller tube. Follow steps 2-6
- The tree will grow and is complete

- Take any size paper and fold it into fourths
- Cut various small shapes along the side
- Unfold and there is your snowflake
Turkey
Materials

- Scissors
- Colored Paper
- Tape or Glue
- Crayons
- On the color paper, trace your hands with the crayon, approximately five times
- On construction paper, trace your foot
- Cut out all the traced papers
- Place foot upside down
- Arrange hands around the foot to create feathers
- Attach the hands to the foot with glue or tape
- Your turkey is complete
